Absolutely do not recommend. I called on the phone and asked if they had crickets available. Hannah told me yes, they had the amount requested and that she'd pull them for me. I told her I was coming from Louisville. I show up and guess what? No crickets. I could have stopped in Shepherdsville on my way back to Etown. I had to get right back on 65 and drive to Shepherdsville, wasting an entire hour of my already busy day simply because people don't do what they say they'll do. Be better.

Just moved here so it was my 2nd time purchasing a live feeder rat from here after purchasing from bowling green for a big while, here they don't tape up the boxes like in bg, for the 1st time I had the rat chew through the box and escape, I was told in bg if the rat escapes or if my snake won't eat it I can take it back/exchange, I got it right before closing so I had to come my next available day, the manager here refused the exchange and claimed there's no such policy, I called bg and they told me it's something up to the manager of each store and that they have a lot of people make a longer drive to purchase from bg, which I will have to do now. So the manager was purposefuly unhelpful and for the rat to be so freaked out it chewed through a box and escaped me when they're supposed to be used to humans tells me the rats here must not be taken care of well. I had my receipt and the chewed up box but she decided making the store an extra 9$ was more important than a happy and returning customer.

I rarely leave a review, but my experience here yesterday with my family was about the worst in recent memory. Made a trip to this store to get my daughter some fish. Everything went well, a kind lady got the 3 guppies 6 tetras and a single pleco. When going to check-out is where a typical experience went south in a hurry. Immediately picked up on a "i dont want to be here attitude" which, hey everyone has a bad day. No worries. It was apparent that the cashier Waylon had no real care, as he sighed and moaned while moving at the pace of a sloth. Slowly grabbing items, scanning them and dropping them into a bag. A strong Marijuana odor was smelt only while in front of him, and his face had red lines as if he had just woken up from a nap. It took a lot for me to bite my tongue but I stayed silent. Then the worst of it, after his annoyance of typing out the SKU numbers for the fish handwritten on the bag, he DROPPED the fish bag on the lower counter. Not like sat it down, an audible THUD was heard. My wife immediately looked at me in disbelief. I was stuck in shock. He had also dropped another item on the ground after scanning, I was starting to wonder if he was going to pick it up a

Looks like Doodle Day today at Feeders Supply. Nice to see courteous associates and a fresh store setup. Liv, the new groomer, gave a fresh 2026 New Year's cut to my Aussie, Olive. She's loving it and even posing for pix.🤭 Hahaha🤣 Liv, thanks again for paying attention to details and delivering what I requested in a short amount of time. Signed🐾🤗
